Performance Director
Ryan Bruggeman
All athletes are under the guidance and supervision of our program director, Coach Ryan brings over 20 years experience working as a sports scientist and Performance coach.
His experience includes serving as strength & mobility coach to pro teams in Tampa Bay Area (Hockey, Baseball, Soccer)
Coach Ryan has trained world champions and Olympic Medalists from a variety of sports and organizations including:
MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, UFC, MLS, and PGA

He has developed athletes at every level from Youth-to-Pro and oversees all aspects of onboarding, programming, and athlete recovery at the UFC GYM-PI in Pinellas Park.

At the UFC GYM-PI we specialize in applying sports science and performance testing to help athletes optimize the effectiveness of training. At the completion of each training cycle (typically 4-12 weeks) we re-test to ensure the program is working. This enables us to develop ongoing programs that ensure we are consistently moving toward your goals, with data to support any future training decisions.
